What is dichroic glass?

As a spin off from the Aerospace industry, dichroic glass combines various metals with glass to create a visual delight. The reflective color is different than the refractive color so as the glass is moved, the colors change.  We create custom fused dichroic glass jewelry including pins, pendants, earrings, bracelets and necklaces capturing the elements in beautiful design.

Small Worlds

  My glass jewelry combines multiple types of dichroic glass colors and patterns to create depth and interest. Looking into a pendant as it is turned in the light is like viewing a small world. Each piece is hand crafted and unique. I have divided the groups into earth, fire, water, air, light and dark. The earth pendants remind me to an aerial view with patches of water, crops etc. Air and light both have some transparent areas to feel more like  what they represent. Clasp type can be changed on request. Magnetic is easier to put on but if snagged and pulled hard can release. Custom earrings can be changed from post to dangle or clip-on.

                           

 

   Fused glass warms with body heat and can be smooth or textured to feel as you wear it. The spirit of the artist's creativity and blessings are captured in each piece. one wearer wrote in a thank you to the artist:
